The Underwood PTO funds and supports programs and materials above and beyond those afforded by the City of Newton’s education budget, supplementing and supporting our children’s curriculum and cultural growth. On an annual basis, the Underwood PTO budget provides approximately $120 worth of support per student and continues to enhance the Underwood community and experience for students and families. Every donation makes a difference to our school! You can submit donations using Venmo @underwoodpto (you will see PTO Treasurer Adam West’s name!), the PayPal online donation form below or by check (see instructions at the bottom of this page).
If the donation is for a specific item or event, please use the “Comment” field as the memo regarding the donation (e.g., “5th grade moving on ceremony”).
All donations are tax-deductible under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our tax-exempt organization number is 22-2562184.

Please note that while we encourage all families to contribute what they can, we also seek donations in other ways including your time, skills, in-kind donations, etc. We appreciate all levels and types of contribution. All parents are members of the PTO regardless of contribution.
